Sagip Yolanda Victims by V-Hive Radio. Typhoon Haiyan, known as Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, was an exceptionally powerful tropical cyclone that devastated portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines, in early November 2013. It is the deadliest Philippine typhoon on record, killing at least 5,959 people in that country alone. Haiyan is also the strongest storm recorded at landfall, and unofficially the fourth strongest typhoon ever recorded in terms of wind speed.

V-Hive Radio has made it's very first achievement by helping our beloved Kababayans who have been victims of the typhoon. Our very own Lily Linayao (V-Hive Radio DJ & Moderator) of Cavite, traveled to Quezon City just to visit GMA 7 Network and donated the amount that we gathered (6000 PHP) to Kapuso Foundation. It's not that big though but as a gift we believe that this would somehow bring back hope to the victims of the typhoon specially this coming Christmas.

Thanks to all DJ's and moderators for your donations. Thank you also to Ms.Michiko (Piglet) for adding up to the amount that we collected for the donation. And last but not the least thank you to Lily for taking care of this event. God Bless to all and have a Mery Mery Christmas to Everyone from your V-Hive Radio family!!!
